If it's lucite, it must be Napoli! Our Italian Bus Tour continues

Part 4 North to the Alps

Milano

.
Our bus tour gave us a 90 minute stop in Milan. Not much time to eat and look  for snowdomes. I finally found this one in a newstand by the famous cathedral in central Milan. I bought the other one on the internet a year later.

Below is the Galleria, an indoor mall built in the 19th century amd one of the first uses of steel and glass. It's still beautiful..

Switzerland
Switzerland.

Lugano on the lake.

A yodeling ladybug?

Chocolate and watches are good buys in Switzerland.. Domes are expensive. These three altogether cost me over 50,000 lire, which is like a 30 dollar bill. On the other hand, I would have eaten the chocolate by now.

Lake Como Area

Although Cosmos Tours is a budget outfit, they put us into the Metropole in Bellagio. About 100 years old, but it sits on the waterfront and still offers the best view of Lake Como.
Baked trout for dinner and views like this made up for the lack of snowdomes in this part of Italy.
